Quinn Asaro (Bellhop)
I am a four-year Genesian and the 2003-04 Chairmen of the Genesian Players.
I made my debut on the Genesian Players’ stage as Rufus Follet in the
production, All the Way Home. I have acted or participated in
10 Genesian productions including Sandbox, Teahouse of the
August Moon, Lost in Yonkers, Wizard of Oz, A Funny
Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Picnic. I
am a senior who came to Rummel from St. Philip Neri. My other activities
are: Vice President of the National Honor Society, Treasurer of the Spanish
Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Student Council Committee Chairman, Campus Ministry,
Big Brothers, and Raider’s Digest reporter. My goal this year was to
play an adult. With this role, I finally made it!
Kati Boudreau (Julia Leverett)
Making my debut in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,
this is my second Genesian production. I am a sophomore at Archbishop
Chapelle and a member of Ambassadors, Student Council, Pro-life club and
Campus Ministry. I am also a graduate of St. Mary Magdalen. I dedicate my
performance to my mom and dad for always being there for me and always
believing in me.
Michael Bray
(Tito Merelli) I am a senior and a first year member of the
Genesians. I am making my first ever appearance on any stage in Lend
Me a Tenor. I attended St. Philip Neri. My hobbies include sports,
reading, music and traveling. This past summer, I visited Australia and New
Zealand. I am an Eagle Scout and I participate in Key Club, campus Ministry,
Big Brothers, National Honor Society, S.T.U.D.S., and French Club at Rummel
and CYO and U-19 soccer at Lafreniere park. My long range goals include
obtaining a degree in engineering and becoming a Navy fighter pilot.
Ross Britz (Bellhop)
I am a four year Genesian and a junior here at Rummel. I enjoy
acting and hope to never stop. In my four years with the Genesians, I have
yet to acquire a role with an actual first name. Previous roles include:
Boy 1, Soldier, Boy, Jitterbug, Farmhand, Soldier 3, and now, Bellhop. I
only dream to one day have an important enough role to have a first name, at
least once before I graduate. Other activities I’m involved with include
Student Council, Soccer, Track, Operation HeadStart, and Campus Ministry.
Michelle Cenac (Maria Merelli)
I am a senior at Archbishop Chapelle high school. I am the vice president of
Ambassadors and NHS, on Campus Ministry E-Board, and a member of the retreat
team, Chorale, Eucharistic Ministers, Guardian Angels, and the French Club.
This is my tenth play and my fourth year as a Genesian. You might have seen
me as mother Flo in my most recent role in Picnic. I am
excited about being single cast, and glad to speak in an Italian accent,
because I like-a lasagna. I am realizing how important the Genesians are to
me, and I will be empty without them next year. I dedicate my role to the
director, Mr. G, who not only shows us how to put on a show, but in his own
way teaches us how to live.
Stephen Dale
(Max) I am a senior making my Genesian debut in Lend
Me a Tenor. An alum of St. Catherine of Siena, I am extremely
excited about my role in this production. At Rummel, I preside as the
student council president. I also actively participate in Raider’s Digest,
Campus Ministry, Big Brothers, S.T.U.D.S., National Honor Society, and FCA.
I would like to dedicate this performance to my parents, John and Benita,
who have unconditionally supported and encouraged me through all my
endeavors at Rummel.
Melissa Freyder (Lighting)
I am a senior at Chapelle and this is my second year as a Genesian. I have
been in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and
worked the lights for The Odd Couple and Picnic.
My school activities include Student Council, NHS, Retreat Team, Campus
Ministry, Ambassadors, Mu Alpha Theta, Eucharistic Ministers, and
Cheerleading. I have had a great time being a Genesian and will enjoy my
last year with Genesians.
Louis Haar (Sound) I
am a junior at Rummel. This is my third year as a Genesian Player. I am also
a member of the Genesian Board. I hail from St. Christopher.
Max “Willy” Hughes (Prop Crew)
I am a sophomore and am in my second year of being in the Genesians. This is
my first time working with props, but I feel I’m catching on fast. You may
have spotted me as a Protean in the last production of the 40th season,
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. I look forward to
this play and many others in the future. I thank Quinn and Lisa for driving
me to and from rehearsal.
Lindsey Lanson (Lighting)
A Chapelle senior and third year Genesian I have worked tech crews, scenery,
lights, student director, and made my debut in Odd Couple. I
was cast as Flo in the recent Picnic. At Chapelle, I am
involved in True Love Waits, Gifted and Talented, NHS, Ambassadors, and
serve as Student Council Sr. Class Treasurer. I also serve as a 2nd year
Drum Major for the Rummel Marching Band. My Genesian awards are: Best Female
Tech and Most Promising Newcomer.
Kasey Mathews
(Julia Leverett) I am a senior at Archbishop Chapelle High
School. This is my third year as a Genesian and I have loved every minute
of it! Along with Genesians, I am involved with Thalians, retreat team, NHS,
and Showstoppers. In the future, I plan to attend LSU, but I will miss
Genesians more than anything.
Marel Medina (Henry Saunders)
I am a senior at Rummel and I previously attended Our Lady of Perpetual
Help. My debut was in Picnic and this is my 2nd Genesian
production. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending
classes, and seeing movies, among other things. My activities at Rummel
include Operation HeadStart and The Genesian Players. I am proud to be in
Genesians because it’s a great club with strong people and has and will
continue to open my mind up to new things. My future plans are to attend
college, continuing to study acting and theater. I would like to thank my
family and close friends for their support.
Michael Mixon (House Manager)
A Rummel senior, I am grateful for everything that Mr. Guajardo and Mr.
Braniff have taught me. I would also like to thank the house crew and
ushers who I feel don’t get enough credit for all they do. And finally, if
there is one piece of advice I can give, that is don’t wait to join the
Genesians, join them as soon as you can. It’s one of the greatest
experiences of your high school life.
Ashley Philips (Maggie Saunders)
I am a junior at St. Mary’s Dominican and I am making my Genesian debut in
this production. I attended St. Benilde where I was also involved in
theater. I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, cabbage ball for St.
Benilde C.Y.O!! My activities at Dominican include Student Council, Clc,
Student Ambassadors, and track. Although this is by first year as a
Genesian, I know I will enjoy meeting new people and learning MUCH more
about theater.
Lisa Roussel
(Maggie Saunders) I am a junior at Chapelle and a first year
Genesian. I was a member of the house crew for the production of
Picnic, but this is my debut performance on the Genesian stage. I
am a cheerleader at Chapelle and I am involved with student council and
retreat team. I am proud to be a Chipmunk and I love being a Genesian. I
had so much fun working on this production and I hope you enjoy it as much
as I did.
Brad Rovira (Prop Master & Stage Manager)
A junior, I am participating in my second production as Prop Master. My
debut was as Allan in Picnic. I went to Memorial Baptist
Christian School of Metairie for grade school. I enjoy learning about
theater and especially enjoy the co-ed activity.
Laura Schulze
(Student Director) I am a sophomore at Archbishop Chapelle
High School and this is my first time working on the crew. I was involved
with many plays when I was younger. I went to St. Benilde School. At
Chapelle, I am currently involved in Ambassadors, retreat team, Cave, Tru
Love Waits, and French club. Previously with the Genesians, I was a
munchkin in The Wizard of Oz and Millie in Picnic.
I really enjoy Genesians and plan to continue working on future productions.
Rachel Sentilles (Diana)
Previously Gymnasia in Forum and Irma Kronkite in Picnic,
I have noticed a pattern of being cast as women with questionable morals, as
with this role. Remember, I’m just acting. I am a senior at Chapelle and
involved with Chapellettes, Student Council, NHS, Eucharistic Ministers,
MAO, and Retreat Team. A graduate of St. Matthew the Apostle, I would like
to thank Mr. G and the Genesian Players for making my high school years
memorable. |
