Kati Boudreau (Aunt Sophia) a senior at Chapelle, is in her fourth year of Genesians. She serves on the Genesian Executive Board. This is her eighth Genesian performance. Some past performances include Grease, Variety Show ’06, You Can’t Take It With You, and Lend Me A Tenor. She plans to attend the John Folse Culinary School at Nicholls State University next year. “My four years with Genesians have made my high school career amazing! I have been able to be a part of a family and I will miss everyone so much next year! I love you guys.” Melissa Bucher (Peg Van Ess) is thrilled to be a part of the Genesians’ Tiger House. She is a senior at Archbishop Chapelle where she is a member of the Ambassadors, student council, campus ministry, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, retreat team, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, and French Club. She is also a member of the Chapellette Dance Team. She is the first member to make the team five consecutive years. She was recently seen in the Genesian Variety Show, A Rigdon in Time. She also appeared in The Philelectic Society’s rendition of Chess. She would like to thank her family for their support and her best friend Rayne for sharing this experience with her. Adrienne Burns (Mrs. Murdock) is currently a senior at Archbishop Chapelle High School. She is a member of National Honor Society, Chorale, Thalians, Ambassadors, Matthew 25 Core Team, volleyball intramurals, as well as president of Impressions and secretary of Key Club. She is planning on attending Loyola University and majoring in English Literature. Last year she was awarded the Geni for Best Actress for the role of Mary Warren in The Crucible. Adrienne says, “Genesians has been an experience of a lifetime.” Stephen Cazenave (Thompson) is in his second year of Genesians and this is his third production overall. Stephen loves taking part in this club because he enjoys every aspect of theater as well as the people who he has met in Genesians. He enjoys spending time every night at rehearsals with these good friends. He is also involved in Rummel’s student council, which he too enjoys. Stephanie Childress (Aunt Sophia) a Dominican junior, previously attended Saint Paul’s Episcopal in Lakeview. This year she enjoyed a semester at Saint Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge before returning to Dominican. Stephanie studies music at NOCCA, enjoys waterskiing and wakeboarding, and is a member of NHS, MAΘ, Tri-M, Dominican band, jazz band, and liturgical music group. She was previously seen in The Desperate Hours and You Can’t Take it With You. Kaitlyn Derenbecker (Mystery Woman) is a junior at Chapelle. This is her first major Genesian production. She took part in the Variety Show this past January. At Chapelle, Kaitlyn is a member of Ambassadors and is her junior class treasurer. She states, “I hope everyone enjoys the show as much as I have enjoyed being a part of it.” Rayne Faucheux (Peggy Van Ess) is a senior at Archbishop Chapelle High School. She is excited about making her debut performance on the Genesian main stage. She previously had a lot of fun in this year’s student produced Variety Show. Besides Genesians, Rayne is a member of the Chapelle student council, an Ambassador officer, and captain of the Rummel cheerleading team. Jonathan Howell (Oswald) has been a Genesian for two years and has recently been seen in The Crucible, You Can’t Take It With You, and Grease. His favorite part of Genesians is entertaining audiences. He also enjoys the friendships that are made when putting a play together. As a graduating senior, Jonathan will miss Genesians and the unparalleled direction of Mr. Guajardo. Andy Hughes (Arthur) is in his fourth year as a Genesian. He has been in, or assisted with, eight productions, including The Crucible, The Desperate Hours, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and you may have also seen him light up the stage as the suave, yet sketchy Eugene Florczyk in Grease. At Rummel, Andy is involved in student council, Big Brothers, and the journalism class. In his free time he enjoys singing in the shower, and rocking out with the Marley family. Max Hughes (MacIntosh) is a fourth year Genesian and is currently serving as the Genesian Board President. Tiger House will mark Max’s tenth performance on the Genesian stage. Other plays include Grease, The Crucible, Mousetrap, and You Can’t Take it With You. At Rummel, Max is also involved with student council, campus ministry, Big Brothers, and Operation HeadStart. Max would like to thank all of his fellow seniors for their support. He is dedicating his final performance to Paul Fleming and his family. Caroline Langlois (Erma) a junior at Archbishop Chapelle, makes her second performance as a Genesian in Tiger House. She was last seen in Grease as Sandy Dumbrowski. Caroline is also an ambassador, a Rummel cheerleader, and the junior class president of the student council. “I would like the thank Kenny Mellor for getting me involved with the Genesians, I always had an interest but he pushed me to do it and now I love the club and the people in it.” Caitlyn Louviere (Erma) is a junior at St. Mary’s Dominican High School. She is involved in student council and other Dominican and Rummel activities. Tiger House is her fifth Genesian production. She hopes this mystery/comedy will be enjoyable for all audiences. Bill Mader (Thomspon) is a senior at Rummel and Tiger House is his second Genesian performance. Bill’s debut performance was in Grease as Teen Angel and Johnny Casino. Along with Genesians, he is involved with campus ministry and Eucharistic ministers. Matthew Martinez (Yami) is a junior at Rummel. This is his seventh performance in the Genesian Players. Recently, he has been in The Desperate Hours and You Can’t Take It With You, and was last seen on the Genesian stage as Doody in Grease. Matthew loves being in Genesians. Kenneth Mellor (Arthur/Oswald) started out as a Genesian 5 years ago in a play called Teahouse of the August Moon and has since come a long way. He is now a senior and one of only 2 members of the Genesian Players who has been in the club for five years. This is the 17th Genesian play in which Kenneth has been involved. You may have seen him on stage most recently as Doody in Grease and last year as Mr. DePinna in You Can’t Take It With You. Kenneth is a member of the Genesian Player board, an executive member of the student council, a campus minister and a Big Brother. P.C.F. 10/31/87 - 12/29/04 Kaeli Nichols (Mrs. Murdock) makes her third performance as a Genesian Player in Tiger House. She is a senior at Mount Carmel Academy and is an active member of Echoes, quiz bowl, Celebration, speech and debate and WMCA. Previously, Kaeli had appeared in both You Can’t Take it With You and Grease. Matthew Reynolds (Yami) a junior, is making his stage debut in Tiger House. This is Matthew’s first year in Genesians. Matthew also plays fullback on the Rummel football team. Laura Schulze (Mystery Woman) is a senior at Chapelle. This is her fourth and final year in Genesians. She has performed in The Wizard of Oz, Picnic, The Crucible, The Desperate Hours, and Grease. She has worked on the technical crew for Lend Me A Tenor, The Mousetrap, You Can’t Take it With You, and Grease. Laura is also a member of the Genesian Board. Next year, Laura plans to attend LSU. “I love my Genesians! In Genesians, I have laughed and I have cried. Being in this club is one of the greatest experiences in my life, and I will never forget it! Thank God Almighty, I’M A GENESIAN!”
