Cast & Crew Profiles

Ryan Bonfanti (Linus) is currently a sophomore at Rummel, and this will be his second play with Genesians. He debuted as The Snake in The Diaries of Adam & Eve in 3 in 1. Ryan is in many clubs, besides Genesians, including the Raiders’ Digest, Ambassadors, and the Key Club. Ryan will also be attending the Rummel College Tour this summer.

Emily Borne (Patty) is a freshman at Archbishop Chapelle High School and is uber excited to close the Genesian season with You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! Past Genesian productions include, 3 in 1 as Willie in This Property is Condemned and Our Town. At Chapelle, she is involved in student council, Showstoppers, Impressions and Junior Beta Club. Emily thanks her crazy, amazing friends and her parents, because without them she would probably explode.

Emily Brauninger (Lucy) is a senior at Mount Carmel and a five year Genesian. She has been involved in many shows over the last couple of years such as The Crucible, You Can’t Take It With You, Our Town, and Charley’s Aunt. She was last seen as Natalia in 3 in 1. Genesians has been a huge part of her life and this wonderful experience will remain close to her forever. It is because of Genesians that Emily can no longer eat her precious Taco Bell. Her performance tonight is for her Grandpa who watches in Heaven. RAA 5/5/22-3/5/08

Jessie Dupuy (Lucy)  Jessie is a senior at Archbishop Chapelle High School and is loving her third year as a Rummel Genesian. You might recognize her as LaLa in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Emily in Our Town, Kitty in Charley’s Aunt, or as Eve in The Diaries of Adam & Eve. When she is not in the Genesian Theatre, Jessie can be found assuming her role as captain of the Rummel Cheerleading team, or participating in student council, the true life club, retreat team, campus ministry or singing at Rummel’s school masses. She is at Rummel more than she is at Chapelle. Jessie hopes to one day open up her own backyard advice stand, but will probably charge more than five cents. She would like to thank Mr. G for making her fall in love with theatre and teaching her all she knows. She would also like to thank Mr. Claverie for keeping Genesians alive and doing such an incredible job at that. Jessie wishes to dedicate this performance to Mr. G and her grandmother, Jean Brannon. “I know both of you are watching from heaven, I love y'all!

Gary Eicke (Head Usher) is a senior at Archbishop Rummel and started his Genesian career as a freshman.  Gary has helped with props and scenery backstage and as an usher for the past few years.  He has always helped Chris Morgan with the building of the set for the past productions. Gary will be attending Southeastern University next year where he will major in criminal justice.  Gary is an Eagle Scout and is will be pursuing a career in law enforcement as a Wildlife & Fisheries Agent and also as an officer in Naval Special Warfare. Gary is very grateful of being a Genesian and wishes he could continue for many more years.

Lauryn Gilardi (Blanket) is a junior at Archbishop Chapelle High School. Lauryn has performed in many previous Genesian productions such as The Song of Bernadette, Laurie in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Rebecca in Our Town, Amy in Charlie’s Aunt, and as Willie in the recent 3 in 1. Lauryn is excited to be a dancing blanket and really hopes that Bonfanti doesn’t drop her.

Will Hoffpauir (Schroeder) is a sophomore at Archbishop Rummel High School. In addition to Genesians, Will is involved in Rummel activities such as Lifeguards, French Club, and Student Council. When Will is not participating in extracurricular activities or slaving away at ridiculous amounts of homework and studying just to make his precious “A”s, he enjoys spending time with friends, playing guitar, and going to all-you-can-eat buffets. Will is eternally grateful to his awesome parents and his extremely cool Uncle Stephan for their encouragement and support. This is Will’s first Genesian production, and he hopes it won’t be his last!

Jesse Karmazin (Snoopy) is a sophomore at Rummel and is honored and delighted to be playing the role of Snoopy in your a You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. This is Jesse’s second production. His first production was in 3 in 1 as The Snake in the The Diaries of Adam & Eve. He never really planned to be a part of the Genesians but he was inspired by Mr. G in his second semester Speech class in 9th grade. It is still to this day the best class he has taken at Rummel. He wants to devote this role to Mr. G, a truly inspiring person. He wants to thank everyone for making him feel like a part of the family.

Claire Laurent (Patty) a junior at Archbishop Chapelle High School, is in her fourth year as a Genesian Player. She is very excited to be cast in her sixth Genesian show, some others being Our Town, Charley’s Aunt, and most recently as Natalia in 3 in 1’s A Marriage Proposal. At Chapelle, Claire is involved in Student Council, True Life, and Campus Ministry, as well as being an Ambassador Officer and the President of Showstoppers. Claire would like to thank the Claverie siblings for working so hard to put on this wonderful show and tell the seniors that it has been a great show and she will miss their smiling faces next year. This one’s for you, Mr. G.

Price Provenzano (Charlie Brown) is a senior at Archbishop Rummel High School and a fourth-year Genesian. You may have seen him on the Genesian stage in past productions such as Adam in 3 in 1, Jack Chesney in Charley’s Aunt, Simon Stimson in Our Town, The Song of Bernadette, and Grease. You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown will be Price’s final play with the Genesian Players and he is very thankful for such a successful season. In real life, he absolutely loves peanut butter sandwiches, which he believes has nothing to do with his loneliness, and red headed women. Price is proud to see that with a few Claveries, a guy named Chris, and a little bit of Green a great show is possible. He has had an incredible senior year filled with Saturday work crews, countless hours in the theatre, and many “Dammit Bonfanti!”s. Throughout his high school experience as a Genesian, Price has realized that “Happiness” is not only mornings and evenings, daytimes and nighttimes too, but being able to spend time doing what he loves with his Genesian Family. He would like to dedicate his performance tonight to Mr. Guajardo who taught him all he knows about acting and for being an inspiration. Price would like to add, “This one’s for you, Mr. G.”

Donovan Retreage (Student Director) is a senior and in his third year as a Genesian. He has never once performed in a play but has have done behind the scenes work many times.  He also participates in the javelin event with the Rummel Track and Field. Donovan’s also enjoy hobbies such as drawing, and mixed martial arts. Once he graduates from Rummel this year, He will be joining the Air National Guard and attending UNO. Genesians is an important part of his high school career and hopes he will be able to still comeback and help.
