The Cast and Crew

 

 

Maria Anzola (Maria/Olga) An Archbishop Chapelle High School Junior. Maria Is a three-year member of the Raider Marching, Concert and Pep Bands. At Chapelle she is involved in Campus Ministry, Impressions and the Excel Club. You Can't Take It With You is her third Genesian production.

John Bel (Kolenkov) Appearing for the first time ever on stage, John is no stranger to Genesian productions. His behind-the-scenes support and technical skills were evident in Fiddler On The Roof, The Nerd, Diary Of Anne Frank, Once Upon A Mattress, Charley's Aunt, Little Shop Of Horrors and Shadow Box. A Junior, he is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Spanish Club and Science Club.

Michael Bergeron (Props) An Archbishop Rummel Junior. Michael is a member of the Key Club, lifeguards and the Spanish Club.

Danny Bono (Ed) Making his first appearance with the Genesians, Danny is a Junior who lists Speech and English as his favorite classes. A graduate of Kehoe­France School, he is a soccer, rafting, cycling and skiing enthusiast and is an active participant in Rummel's annual auction.

Kelly Claverie (Essie/Gay) A Sophomore at Chapelle. Kelly's first Genesian appearance was in Once Upon a Mattress when she was in eighth grade. A member of the Rummel Marching Band, she is also involved in Chapelle's Impressions, Excel Club, Limelighters and is President of the Chapelle Choir.

Betsy Danflous (Essie/Olga) A Junior at Newman School. Betsy is in her fourth year as a Genesian. She has appeared in Fiddler, Mattress, and Little Shop and worked on props for Charley's Aunt. She is a member of Newman's Basketball and Track teams, Latin Club and Shades of Color.

Paul Dufour (Kolenkov) Making his debut in last year's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Paul is a Senior. After graduation he plans to attend Delgado Community College and later transfer to the University of New Orleans.

Michael Dufrechou (One of the men) Making his debut in You Can't Take It With You as a Junior, Michael is a Cheerleader, President of the French Club, and a member of Mock Trial, Rummel Lifeguards, Campus Ministry, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society and the Track and Cross Country teams.

John Guidry (Props) A Junior, John is active in a variety of Rummel activities including National Honor Society, Key Club, French Club, Spanish Club and Science Club.

Rebecca Harris (Penny) A four-year Genesian Player. Rebecca is a Senior at Ursuline Academy where she is a member of the Drama Club, Student Ambassadors and is Student Council President. Debuting in Fiddler On The Roof, she has also appeared in Charley's Aunt, Once Upon A Mattress and The Shadow Box. Although she is sad to be in her last year of Genesians. she has many happy memories on and off stage.

Kelly Kropog (Mrs. Kirby) A Chapelle Senior in her second Genesian production, Kelly is a member of Chapelle's National Art Honor Society, Matthew 25, Psychology Club. Eucharistic Ministers and Retreat Team. She plans to attend Louisiana State University as a Psychology major.

Robert Landry (One of the men) A Rummel Senior, Robert is excited to appear in his first playas a Raider. A graduate of St. Louis King of France Grammar School. he is a former member of the Rummel Football and Wrestling teams. He is looking forward to working with the Genesians again.

Stephen Maloney (Paul) A technical crew member for Little Shop of Horrors, Stephen is a Junior. He is a member of the Swim Team. Student Council. and Campus Ministry. You Can't Take It With You is his stage debut.

Darren Marshall, Jr. (Donald) A Sophomore who made his first Genesian appearance in Little Shop of Horrors. Darren attended Haynes Middle School.

Courtney McAcy (Ed) A Junior, who is already planning a career in psychology. Courtney performed in Once Upon A Mattress and Little Shop of Horrors, and assisted with props in Shadow Box.

Shawn McAcy (Henderson) A Junior, Shawn made his on-stage debut in Once Upon A Mattress and has been involved with Genesians as an usher for several productions. He enjoys set construction and plans a career in architecture.

Steven Michel (Student Director) A member of the props crew for Little Shop of Horrors. Steven is a Junior who entered Rummel In eighth grade. An alumni of St. Christopher, he is involved in Campus Ministry. Spanish Club and Science Club.

Jim Mora (Donald) A Eucharistic Minister, Jim first appeared with the Genesians in Little Shop of Horrors. A Senior. he is looking forward to graduation and college life.

Nick Poché (One of the men) You Can't Take It With You is Nick's Genesian debut. A Junior, he plays the clarinet in the Raider Band and is active in Student Council. He is an eighth grade graduate of Holy Cross. where he was a member of the Drama Club.

Stephanie Reynolds (Alice) A member of the Chapellettes, Stephanie is a Junior at Archbishop Chapelle. Her past Genesian performances include Once Upon A Mattress and Little Shop of Horrors. She is involved in the Rummel Band and Chapelle's National Honor Society, Student Council, Impressions, Choir, Excel and Theatre Club.

Elizabeth Rizzo (Gay) Excited to be "a part of Rummel." with her You Can't Take It With You debut. Elizabeth is a Sophomore at Mount Carmel. She is a member of Celebration, Spanish Club, Speech Club and STK.

Kate Rohm (Mrs. Kirby/Rheba) A Junior at Archbishop Chapelle. Kate's Genesian debut was in Little Shop of Horrors. She is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Grammar School.

Frannie Rosenberg (Penny) A Junior at Newman School, Frannie is making her Genesian debut in You Can't Take It With You. A participant in NORD's summer workshops, she is a member of the Newman Players, Chorus, ACTIONS, Booster, SADD, Glitter Crew, newspaper photography staff and is yearbook business manager.

Mike Tregle (Grandpa) A Senior at Rummel. Mike is in his fifth year as an active Genesian Player. An avid guitarist, he is a Rummel Cheerleader, Big Brother, a member of the National Honor Society and listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. He plans to attend Loyola University as a music major. Most of all. he would like to thank former Genesian Technical Director Mr. Robert Roso for his years of support and guidance.

Matthew Treuting (Tony) President of the Sophomore Class and co President of the St. Ann CYO, Matt made his Genesian debut in Little Shop of Horrors. He is a Campus Ministry Committee Chairperson and member of HeadStart and the Football Team.

Paul Treuting (Mr. Henderson) Senior Class Vice President and Student Council member, Paul is the starting free-safety on the Rummel Football Team and a member of the Wrestling Team. He also enjoys baseball, fishing, hunting, and playing the piano.

Keith Vega (Mr. Kirby) A Senior making his first stage appearance in You Can't Take It With You, Keith has been an active Genesian behind-the-scenes including props for Little Shop. Planning to attend the University of Southern Mississippi and pursue a Law degree, he is a member of the Library Club, Operation HeadStart, Campus Ministry and Choir.

Paul White (Props) In addition to his involvement with Genesians, this Rummel Junior serves as Key Club President.
