Tiffany Ameen (Sandy) A Chapelle
Freshman, Cheerleader and Student Council member, Tiffany previously
attended Adams Middle School. Although this is her first Genesian appearance
she has performed in a variety of other local productions. Maria Auzola (Cha Cha) A Senior at Archbishop Chapelle and three-year Genesian, Maria first appeared in Charley ‘s Aunt. She is a Raider Cheerleader and a former member of the Raider Marching, Symphonic and Pep Bands. She is a member of Chapelle’s newspaper staff and Impressions choir. She will be attending Millsaps College in Mississippi as a Criminal Law major. She says, “I’m so glad that I got to be a part of such a fabulous group of people. The Genesians and Mr. G. have given me memories to last a lifetime.” John Bel (Props) Working behind-the-scenes is nothing new for John, a Senior and the only five-year male Genesian in the Class of ‘98. As an eighth grader, he was a member of the technical crew for Fiddler and received the Best Male Tech Geni Award in 1995 and 1996. As a Junior he debuted on stage in You Can’t Take It With You and has also appeared in A Hatful of Rain, Ten Little Indians, Brighton Beach Memoirs, A Few Good Men and St. Rita CYO productions. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Rummel Literary Magazine, Secretary of Mu Alpha Theta, Vice President of the National Honor Society, Managing Editor of Raider’s Digest and a member of Big Brothers. He will attend Loyola University in the fall as a Communications/English major. Johnny Bordes (Sonny) A Senior, Johnny has been awarded a Leadership Scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi. He is performing with the Genesians for the first time. Johnny is a member of the Baseball Team, Operation Head Start, Campus Ministry, Big Brothers, Project Raider Hope, the newspaper staff, and Vice President of the Student Council. Kyle Clark (Danny) A Sophomore in his first Genesian production, Kyle has performed in several musical productions in Texas and was recently seen in the Jefferson Performing Arts Society production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is a member of the Key Club, Choir, National Honor Society, and is a STAIR reading tutor. Kelly Claverie (Jan) A Chapelle Junior and Rummel Band Drum Major, Kelly is a member of the Symphonic and Pep Bands. At Chapelle, she is a member of the Retreat Team, Student Ambassadors, All-State Choir, Honor Choir, Chorale and Impressions. As an eighth grader, she appeared in Once Upon a Mattress. Chuck Credo (Doody) A Senior, who first appeared in last year’s Ten Little Indians, Chuck is a second-generation Genesian; his mother, father and two uncles are Genesian alumni. He is Mock Trial Captain and member of the Key Club, Campus Ministry, Eucharistic Ministers, Big Brothers and National Honor Society. He will pursue a career in Law but also has ambitions to succeed as a rock star. Keith Credo (Johnny Casino) A Junior, who also follows several members of his family as a Genesian, Keith appeared in The Nerd. and also performed in the band for Once Upon A Mattress. He is a member of the Marching, Pep, Symphonic and Jazz Bands, Campus Ministry, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Lisa Credo (Chorus) Yes, another member of the talented Credo family! A Freshman at Mt. Carmel, Lisa makes her first Genesian appearance in Grease. She is a member of Mt Carmel’s drama group, Celebrations, Freshman Artist Committee, Speech Team, CLC, and is Student Council Secretary. John Cressend (Eugene) Appearing in his second Genesian production, John is a Junior who participates in Football, Soccer, Tennis and Campus Ministry. He is considering a career as a professional athlete or actor. Betsy Danflous (Frenchy) A Senior at Newman School, Betsy is the only female five-year Genesian in the Class of ‘98. She first appeared “for about 30 seconds” in Fiddler, and was also seen in Mattress, Little Shop, You Can’t Take It With You, Ten Little Indians and Brighton Beach Memoirs. This fall she will attend Appalachian State University in North Carolina as an Athletic Training major. Betsy would like to thank Mr. G for thousands of memories and opportunities; Mr. Roso for trusting her with the saw; Ms Dickie for her woman’s perspective, and the many Genesians whose pictures line her walls and remain forever in her heart. This one’s for you, T! Lauren Danos (Miss Lynch) A Senior at Chapelle, Lauren is actively involved in many extracurricular activities, including the Golf Team, Chorale, Retreat Team, Eucharistic Ministers and Student Council. She is President of the Athletic Association, Vice President of Ambassadors and President of True Love Waits. Lauren will attend the University of Southern Mississippi as a Public Relations major. Angela Drago (Patty) A Chapelle Junior, Angela is making her Genesian debut in this production. A member of the Chapellettes Dance Team, she looks forward to future roles with the Genesians. Michael Dufrechou (Chorus) Known as “Mr. Lucky,” especially when it comes to raffle tickets, Mike is a Senior who first appeared in You Can’t Take It With You. He is Captain of the Cheerleading Squad and a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Campus Ministry and Eucharistic Ministers. He will attend Louisiana State University in the fall. Allan Feltes (Head Usher) A Sophomore, Allan was recently seen in A Few Good Men. President of the Science Club, he also participates in Mock Trial and WRHS news. John Guidry (Teen Angel) A Senior in his second year with the Genesians , John worked backstage for You Can’t Take It With You and is appearing on-stage at Rummel for the first time in Grease. President of the French Club and WRHS-TV anchor, John is a member of the Spanish Club, Library Club, Science Club, Campus Ministry, National Honor Society and Varsity Quiz Bowl. John will attend New York University in the fall as a Political Science major. Tim Hedrick (Chorus) A Sophomore, Tim first appeared on stage in the recent production of A Few Good Men and has worked the technical side of theatre for three years. He is involved with Campus Ministry, Choir, Mu Alpha Theta, Science Club and National Honor Society. Lindsey Himmaugh (Marty) A John Curtis High School Sophomore, Lindsey is making her Genesian debut in Grease. A member of her school Band, she participates in Academic Games, Softball and the Drama Club. Ashlie Hof (Chorus) An eighth grader at St. Elizabeth’s, Ashlie makes her on-stage Rummel debut in Grease. A member of the Choir and Co-president of the Beta Club, she will attend Chapelle next year. Larry Holder (Roger) A three-year lettermen and co-captain of the Tennis Team, Larry is a Senior appearing in a Genesian production for the first time. He is the Managing Editor of the Raider’s Digest and will attend Louisiana State University in the fall as a Broadcast Journalism major. Robby Howard (Chorus) A Senior, Robby was recently seen as Kaffee in A Few Good Men and also appeared in this year’s production of Brighton Beach Memoirs. He is a member of the Raider Football Team and Student Council. Robby will attend LSU in the fall. Jonny Juneau (Student Director) Best known for his debut performance in The Shadow Box and as an usher for almost every Genesian production in the last three years, Jonny is a Sophomore. He is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Mock Trail, Honors Society, Key Club and Campus Ministry. Steve Maloney (Vince Fontaine) A Senior and three-year Genesian who first appeared in You Can’t Take It With You, Steve follows his Uncle David, Aunt Jill and Mom, Becky, as a member of the Genesians. He has appeared in Hatful of Rain, Ten Little Indians, Brighton Beach Memoirs and A Few Good Men. Steve will attend Nicholls State University in the fall. Gary Marino (Chorus) A Junior, who debuted in A Few Good Men, Gary participates in Campus Ministry. He attended St. Angela Elementary. Darren Marshall (Eugene) A Junior in his third year with the Genesians, Darren was first seen in Little Shop of Horrors. He has also appeared in You Can’t Take It With You, A Hatful of Rain and A Few Good Men. Courtney McAcy (Kenickie) A Senior, who plans a college major of Child Psychology, Courtney has appeared on-stage in Once Upon A Mattress, Little Shop of Horrors, You Can’t Take It With You, and A Few Good Men. He is a member of the Rummel Choir and practitioner of Martial Arts. Courtney is a four-year Genesian. Shawn McAcy (Chorus) Shawn is a Senior and four-year member of the Genesians who was first seen in Once Upon A Mattress. He has been involved in the technical aspects of almost every production for the past four years. He is a member of the Computer Programming Team and the Art Club. Brandon McAcy (Chorus) A Sophomore and third-year Genesian, Brandon was first seen on stage in A Few Good Men and has worked the technical crew for numerous productions. He is a member of the Symphonic and Marching Bands. David McDonald (Chorus) A Senior, David is Vice President of the Raider Band and also Ban Sax section leader. He is in the Jazz Ensemble and the Symphonic Band. This is David’s first and final Genesian production. He is President of LaSallian Youth and is a member of the Key Club, Campus Ministry, Student Council, National Honor Society and Retreat Team Colleen McKay (Rizzo) As a Senior at Dominican High School, Colleen is an enthusiastic participant in extracurricular activities. She is business editor of the yearbook, official in Student Council, co-manages Dominican’s Basketball team, and is also a member of the Cross Country and Track teams. She has participated in Dominican drama productions and other New Orleans area productions including Tulane Junior Lyric and NORD. She has most recently appeared in A Few Good Men and is very sad to be leaving the Genesians. Jon Mizell (Chorus) A Sophomore, Jon previously attended Atonement Lutheran where he performed in The Miracle Worker and Unhappily Ever After. His extracurricular activities include golf and soccer. Lauren Michon (Rizzo) A Chapelle Sophomore, Lauren is appearing in her first Genesian play but is not new to the stage. She has acted in several Jefferson Performing Arts Society productions and is a member of the JPAS Treble Ensemble and Youth Chorale. At Chapelle, she is involved with Student Ambassadors and the Intermediate Choir. Stephanie Morris (Jan) A Chapelle Junior, Stephanie is a member of Impressions, Chorale, President of Showstoppers and Vice President of the Honor Ensemble. A dance student of 13 years, Stephanie is also active in her church choir and is a regular on WWL Television’s Our Generation. She would like to thank God, her family and friends for their love and support. Amanda Perret (Miss Lynch) A Chapelle Sophomore and St. Clement of Rome Elementary graduate, Amanda is making her stage debut in Grease. She is a member of the Swim Team, Student Ambassadors, Mission Club and Mu Alpha Theta. Allison Perry (Patty) A Mt. Carmel Sophomore, Allison participates in CLC, Chorale, Key Club and is a member of the Jesuit Dance Team. She attended St. Clement of Rome Elementary. Doria Plakotos (Marty) A Chapelle Junior, Doria is a three-year member of the Genesians who appeared in Brighton Beach Memoirs. She is Historian for Chapelle’s Impressions and is a member of the Chorale. Nick Poché (Teen Angel) A Senior, Nick is a member of the Marching and Symphonic Bands. He is a Student Council homeroom representative, retreat leader and is involved with Campus Ministry, Choir, LaSallian Youth, and WRHS Video Club. A three-year member of the Genesians, Nick debuted in You Can’t Take It With You. He would like to thank all of his friends in Genesians for the great fellowship and fond memories that he will carry with him throughout the rest of his life. Nick would especially like to thank his mom for standing by him and putting up with him during this play and throughout his high school years. “Mom, I love you.” Michelle Reynolds (Chorus) An eighth grade student at Chapelle, Michelle is making her Genesian stage debut in Grease. She has worked backstage or ushed for other productions this year. Michelle is a member of the Rummel Band. Stephanie Reynolds (Sandy) A Senior at Archbishop Chapelle High School and four-year Genesian, Stephanie is performing in her seventh Genesian production since debuting in Once Upon A Mattress. She is Vice-president of the Chapellettes and was a member of the Rummel Band for three years. At Chapelle, she is Vice-president of Chorale, and a member of Impressions and National Honor Society. She plans to attend Louisiana State University as a Psychology major. Danny Rockwell III (Doody) A Sophomore, Danny is a three-year Genesian who first appeared in Little Shop of Horrors. He is a member of Student Council, Campus Ministry, Key Club, National Honor Society and Choir. Danny would like to thank his parents for supporting him in everything he does. Randy Rodriguez (Chorus) A Senior who fondly remembers playing the King of England in his Kindergarten Thanksgiving play, Randy marks his first on-stage appearance at Rummel with this production. He is a member of the Soccer Team, Campus Ministry, National Honor Society, Big Brothers, and Band. He will attend the University of Alabama in the fall. Philip Rosado (Johnny Casino) A Senior, Philip made his first on-stage appearance in A Few Good Men. He is a member of Advanced Jazz, Marching, Pep and Concert Bands. In the fall he will attend the University of New Orleans as an Architecture major. Sophie Rosado (Cha-Cha) A Chapelle Junior, Sophie is appearing in her first Genesian production. She plays the flute and piccolo in Rummel’s Marching and Symphonic Bands and is a member of Chapelle’s National English Honor Society. Lisa Sclafani (Chorus) A Chapelle Junior, Lisa is making her on-stage debut in Grease but has helped backstage for previous productions. She is a member of Chapelle’ Chorale and the Liturgy Committee. Buster Seeling (Chorus) A Senior and member of the Raider Football Team, Buster is appearing in his first Genesian production. Matthew Treuting (Kenickie) Student Council President, Matt is a Junior who has appeared in several Genesian productions beginning with Little Shop of Horrors. He participates in Operation HeadStart, Campus Ministry, Choir, National Honor Society and is a Rummel Cheerleader. Matt is looking forward to de-greasing his hair after this play. Kate Rohm (Frenchy) A Senior at Chapelle, Kate’s first appearance with the Genesians was in Little Shop of Horrors three years ago. A member of the Chapellettes, she has also appeared in You Can’t Take It With You, Ten Little Indians, Brighton Beach and A Few Good Men. Hernaldo Vanegas (Sonny) A Senior in his first Genesian play, Hernaldo is a member of the Basketball Team, Campus Ministry, and Operations HeadStart. He plans to attend Tulane University as a Business major. Caroline Vanek (Props) A Senior at Mount Carmel Academy, Caroline recently appeared in A Few Good Men. A veteran of numerous Mt. Carmel STK productions, she represents STK in the International Thespian Society. A Jiu Jitsu and kick boxing student, she will attend Loyola University in the fall. Daniel Wilson (Vince Fontaine) A Sophomore who previously attended Ecole Classique, Danny was most recently seen as Lt. Kendrick in A Few Good Men and worked props for Brighton Beach. He is a member of the Spanish Club. Jeff Winchester (Danny) Jeff is a Rummel Senior who first appeared with the Genesians in this season’s opening production of Brighton Beach Memoirs, Jeff is planning a career in Sports Massage Therapy. He is a member of Rummel’s Baseball Team, Operations HeadStart, Big Brothers, National Honor Society and is on the staff of the Raider's Digest. |
